Recently, some “childish faces” appear in the real estate market, and to be property owners has gained popularity among college students. What comes along with this phenomenon is the contradiction: even if they thought it’s improper to use parents’ money, they still let their parents pay for their houses.

The following three factors can account for this trend: First and foremost, more and more local and foreign investors flood into the housing market, pushing the already soaring price to an even higher level. Furthermore, houses undertake the roles of value retaining and increment of assets, and help to be against inflation. Last but by no means the least, in many cases Chinese people often can’t get the sense of security completely until they have owned their own houses—they will save every penny to fulfill this lifelong dream.

Fortunately, government has issued policies to inhibit house prices. I personally believe that an increasing number of people can change their traditional mode of thinking, and improve their living quality and thus live a better life.
