科技与传统文化Technology and tradition
Joozone Editor's Note:本文意在论述科技与传统文化的两面性
First, high-tech is more efficient and suitable for our quick rhythm of life. Take the calligraphy for example, nowadays, with the invention of computer, few young people learn to study it, because people can write more quickly with computer and they can get what kinds of handwriting style they like. Why they spend lots of time studying calligraphy which has little use in our daily life? Second, protecting the traditional culture needs lots of money. It is not practical to spend so much money on such old architecture without any practical usage. It may be better to use the money to help the poor, to whom hunger and shelter are still the headache. All in all, although traditional culture is a heritage from the ancient, it couldn't keep pace with the development of society. It will walk off the stage of history.
