The right attitude to failure
正确地面对失败是我们每一个人应该认识到的,只有给失败一个正确的认识才能使您的人生更加灿烂
Failure is common in our life. It can happen to anybody, but people’s attitudes towards failure differ. Some people become very sad, lose heart and eventually give up while others learn a lesson from every failure, so they get different results.
In my opinion, failure is not a bad thing. However, never losing heart after failing is not an easy thing. If you want to be successful, you have to have the right attitude to failure. For example, after you fail in your mathematics exam, you may think you will never study mathematics well, and then, give it up. You should keep studying mathematics hard and you will be a victor in the end.
Whether you are a victor or loser, failure is the most important and basic thing you have to face. It is even a required course for you before you become a victor. The difference between victors and losers lies in how they deal with failure.
Looking around the whole world, you can see what famous people’s attitudes towards failure are. Li Siguang finally found oil in China after failing many times. Thomas Edison made the first electric lamp after thousands of failures. We can look at Edison’s attitude to failure by his words — “I didn’t fail, I just found many materials which I couldn’t use to invent the electric lamp.”
These famous people all learned a lesson when they failed, and improved step by step. That’s the reason why they finally became victors.
