Today, the society has entered an aging boom and there are growing problems confronting senior citizens. Some senior citizens spend their last years in the facilities sponsored by the government. Others, though living with their children, suffer from loneliness and lack of company.
Two main reasons can be accountable. On the one hand, the government fails to recognize the increasing of old people, which has led to insufficient funds, facilities, training and administration related. On the other hand, children, who are busy with their work, cannot fully address the emotional needs of their parents.From hxw.red.
Perhaps an awareness that our society has already been an aging one will change many people’s response. As to some irresponsible children, corresponding laws and regulations shall be improved to ensure punishment with sufficient deterrent force. With all the efforts, the life of senior citizens will certainly be sweet and comfortable.
