As the pace of life continues to increase, we are fast losing the art of relaxation.Once you are in the habit of rushing through life, being on the go from morning till night,it is hard to slow down. But relaxation is essential for a healthy mind and body.
随着生活节奏的不断加快,我们的娱乐活动越来越少。或许你习惯于奔跑着生活,一天中无时无刻都在赶路,很难停下来。但是放松对于保持健康的身心是必不可少的。

Stress is a natural part of everyday life and there is no way to avoid it. In fact, it is not the bad thing as it is often supposed to be. A certain amount of stress is vital to provide motivation and give purpose to life. It is only when the stress gets out of control can it lead to poor performance and ill health.
压力是日常生活中不可避免的一个组成部分。事实上,有压力是很正常的,这并不是坏事。一定量的压力压力会给生活提供动力。只有当压力不受人的控制时才会影响正常表现以及身体健康。

The amount of stress a person can withstand depends very much on the individual. Some people are not afraid of stress, and such characters are obviously prime

material for managerial responsibilities. Others lose heart at the first signs of unusual difficulties. When exposed to stress, in whatever form, we react both chemically and physically. In fact, we make a choice between "flight or fight"and in more primitive days the choices made the difference between life or death.The crises we meet today are unlikely to be so extreme, but however little the stress, it involves the same response. It is when such a reaction lasts long, through continued exposure to stress, that health becomes endangered. Such serious conditions as high blood pressure and heart diseases have established links with stress.

Since we cannot remove stress from our lives (it would be unwise to do so even if we could), we need to find ways to deal with it.From hxw.red.
个人所能承受的压力因人而异。一些人不害怕压力,显然这样性格的人是管理阶层的人选。还有一些人遇到困难的事情时就会灰心丧气。当面对压力的时候,我们的生理和心里都会发生一些变化。事实上,我们会在“战斗或逃跑”间做出选择,这将是生死攸关的选择。当然我们平常遇到的情况并没有这么严重,但是无论压力的大小,它将会导致到同样的后果。当特定的压力持续作用时间很长时,就会对健康造成威胁。这种对健康的危害中,高血压和心脏病都与压力有一定的关系。既然我们无法摆脱生活压力(就算我们人为是可以摆脱压力的,把压力从生活中去除也是不明智的),我们需要找到对付压力的方法。
