As my resume shows,I received my BA in marketing from Marquette University last month.For the past four years,I have worked for the Wisconsin Metals Company,part time while school was in session full time in summers.During these four years,I have performed various duties in the marketing department,including consumer research work for the product managers.In addition,my major in Marquette was in chemistry,and I received A or B+grades in all my chemistry courses.
What my resume does not show is that I am an ambitious,hard working person who enjoys the challenges of product development and marketing,challenges which I know Deka Chemicals has met so well for so many years.I would welcome the opportunity to discuss with you my quaalifications for the position of assistant product manager for Deka.I understand from your ad.that an interview can be arranged in the Milwaukee area in early December.Please write or call me to arrange an interview at your convenience.My telephone number is 555-7875.(216 words)
